White Rock Medical Center celebrated Faith M., RN, a registered nurse in the telemetry unit, as she became the most recent recipient of the DAISY Award on May 12.
She was recognized for her close attention to the medical needs of a patient and collaborative work with the physician to ensure her patient had the care and treatment needed.
She also serves as a preceptor, mentoring and teaching new and future nurses.
Created by the DAISY Foundation, the award is presented across the country to honor the important role of nurses and the bond between the nurse and patient.
