Emergency Department
Working in the emergency department is very rewarding. We see people from all walks of life and are able to care for them during a time of need. You’re the first face they see when they arrive for help. We can be there to advocate for what they need and get them the care they deserve.
I also love the emergency department because it’s always different and changing. Plus, these are my people. I fell in love with the people who work in the ED when I was in nursing school. The people who work here are one of the main reasons why I’m here. And that goes for all employees, including people who I don’t work with directly, such as administration and other departments outside the emergency department. They really care.
